A METHOD OF OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE FOR AMR ROBOT IN WAREHOUSE AUTOMATION

Abstract

Currently, automation models are born to solve all the unnecessary risks of traditional models and in the supply chain, warehouse automation has brought great efficiency in warehouse management. This paper approaches the obstacle avoidance method for AMR robot in warehouse automation proposed based on the calculation of the probability of collision that may occur between the robot and the objects when a robot is on its trajectory, and the adjusted trajectory during the movement processing. The calculation of the collision were provided to support the robot to choose a safe area to move through and over obstacles. An obstacle avoidance algorithm based on complement of probability is proposed. The results of the probability calculation and the robot path finding algorithm are tested and simulated.
