Automotive lighting technology is becoming more and more popular these days. Embedded systems in auto control have also been applied by many researchers. However, popular cars almost only offer automatic lights on and off. In order to increase safety and increase visibility while driving, the authors used an Arduino controller to collect and process data from optical sensors placed in suitable positions to give control commands to the driver actuators such as relays to turn on and off auxiliary lights, cap rheostats in lights to increase or decrease brightness when lighting conditions change. At the same time, the author also studied and put an extra light system that can automatically turn on and off when the driver steers or the right or left turn signal switch to the right or left, the system auxiliary lights will be turned on to illuminate the corners to avoid hidden spots. The light system also has the ability to automatically turn on and off low  and high beam headlamps by changing the lighting angle of the lights, but the cost for this automatic lighting system is low. The result of the system is good and stable, when in automatic mode the system will automatically turn on and off the lights accordingly without the need of an operator.
