RESEARCH ON SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF AFRICAN SHORT DISEASE IN HA GIANG PROVINCE

Abstract

The study aims to identify some characteristics of African swine fever in Ha Giang province. Using conventional research methods combined with modern research methods, it was found that husbandry methods have an impact on the situation of African swine fever. The rate of pigs infected with ASF was the highest (63.99 and the lowest was for boars (2.21%). Pigs in Ha Giang province had the highest ASF in autumn. is 36.24% and the lowest is in winter 17.3%.Sows infected with the disease have typical symptoms such as high fever, anorexia, hemorrhage, swelling, constipation, convulsions, paralysis, miscarriage; In piglets, up to 97.81% showed signs of high fever above 40oC, stopped eating and lying on top of each other; 98.72% of sick pigs showed red skin symptoms; 13.16% of pigs monitored. 100% of the dead pigs had lesions in the lymph nodes, spleen and gall bladder.In addition, there were other typical lesions such as swelling, adhesions, and necrotic foci in the lungs. 96.67%; Cardiac fluid retention, degeneration, hematoma accounted for 92%; Hemorrhagic kidney accounted for 94%; Hemorrhagic liver accounted for 88% and gallbladder swelling and hemorrhage in the serosa layer of gallbladder accounted for 49,74% Research results are the basis for effective disease prevention and control measures.
