Abstract

This study explores the impact of entrepreneurial education on students' entrepreneurial intention and the difference of this impact on different groups of students. By applying the quantitative approach, from the data of 221 responses from students of a university in Vietnam, the results indicate that entrepreneurial education has a positive impact on the entrepreneurial intention of students. In addition, entrepreneurial education also improves students' entrepreneurial self-efficacy, from which, when students are confident in their entrepreneurial abilities, it will increase their intention to start a business. Besides, the study also proves the moderating role of entrepreneurial motivation on the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. In other words, for students with high entrepreneurial motivation, when they have confidence in their entrepreneurial ability, they will have a strong intention to start a business, and vice versa. This study contributes to both entrepreneurship theory and implications for universities in designing entrepreneurial education program effectively.
