Abstract
This paper introduces the new structure of hollow breakwater for coastal protection in the Mekong Delta. This is a new structure design with many advantages that has been carefully researched and widely constructed with more than 3 km of coastline in the Con Cong and Tan Thanh in Tien Giang province. This breakwater initially reveals positive effects in wave reduction, sedimentation accumulation, mangrove restoration and may potentially apply widely in Mekong coastline.
