Abstract

Recent studies on children with autism spectrum disorder have shown that the number of children with autism spectrum disorder is increasing rapidly in both quantity and difficulty. Studies have also shown that the best way to help children with autism spectrum disorder develop, learn and integrate into society is to detect and intervene early. The family is where children are born and raised, where they receive the most attention, sharing and sympathy. Therefore, the family plays a particularly important role in early detection, early intervention and support for children with autism spectrum disorder to develop, learn and integrate into society. This paper has provided an overview of early detection and early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder; at the same time, based on some sociological theories, proposes a model for early detection and early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder based on the family
