Abstract
This paper systematically synthesizes domestic and international studies on the role of mothers in the child education in the family. This paper reviews research on the role of mothers in educating children in the family in four main directions:(1) Research on the role of mothers in educating morality, personality, and lifestyle for children;(2) Research on the role of mothers in educating knowledge/cultural learning, labor, and career orientation;(3)Research on the role of mothers in marriage orientation, and sex education;(4) Research on the role of mothers in educating life skills and comprehensive development for children. The reviewed literature provides an overview of the mother's role in family-based child education, thereby identifying existing research gaps on this topic. Through a combination of keyword analysis and examination of relevant research works, the insights and conclusions presented in this paper offer a guidance for future research. The paper is part of the results of the Ministry-level scientific research project “The role of mothers in educating children in family adapting to the context of digital transformation”
