Linkages between Higher Education Institutions and Enterprises in Training High-Quality Human Resources in the North Central and Central Coastal Regions under Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW

Abstract

The Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the socio-economic development and the safeguarding of national defense and security in the North Central and Central Coastal regions toward 2030, with a vision to 2045 (hereinafter referred to as Resolution 26), sets forth the requirement to elevate the linkage between higher education institutions and enterprises to a new level. This paper analyzes the fundamental contents of Resolution 26, assesses the current status of the collaboration between these stakeholders in training high-quality human resources (HQHR) in the North Central and Central Coastal regions, clarifies achievements and existing limitations. On this basis, the study proposes solutions to human resource training in the coming period to meet the socio-economic development requirements articulated in Resolution 26.
