Factors affecting employee retention in luxury accommodation business in Da Nang
Abstract
After the COVID-19 levels declines, accommodation businesses in Viet Nam in general and Da Nang in particular have resumed normal operations contributing to increasing needs for employee recruitment and retention for enterprises. This paper employs primary data via collected questionnaire, delivered both online and in-person, from 421 employees working in luxury accommodation businesses in Da Nang. Using scale reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and multi-variable regression analysis, the research findings indicate that there are 12 factors, mainly belonging to the material group (2 factors), non-material group (7 factors), and demographic characteristics (3 factors), affecting employee retention in luxury accommodation businesses in Da Nang.
