Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Journal
The Hue Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (formerly known as the Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy) of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy is authorized to operate as a journalistic publication under license number 207/GP-BTTTT dated June 12, 2023, and has been assigned ISSN: 3030-4318 - eISSN: 3030-4326 by the Ministry of Science and Technology under Decision No. 09/TTKHCN-ISSN dated March 11, 2024. This is a journal with its own unique identity and professional characteristics of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The Hue Medical and Pharmaceutical Journal, formerly known as the Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (ISSN 1859-3836), was established and operated from 2011 to 2023 with operating license number 1720/GP-BTTTT dated November 15, 2010. After June 2023, the Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy changed its name to Hue Medical and Pharmaceutical Journal with publishing license number 207/GP-BTTTT dated June 12, 2023, in both print and electronic formats.

The journal's purpose is to publish and introduce the scientific research results of faculty and staff of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, and other universities and research institutes in the region, nationwide, and worldwide in all fields of medicine and pharmacy; to promote scientific research activities serving the goals of research and training, research and application of science and technology for teaching, learning, and medical examination and treatment.

The Hue Medical and Pharmaceutical Journal is published seven times a year, with four issues in Vietnamese and three in English, and is widely distributed nationwide. With a rigorous and scientific peer review process involving reputable scientists in the medical and pharmaceutical fields both domestically and internationally, the Hue Medical and Pharmaceutical Journal – Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy – has been ranked among scientific journals with a score of 0-1.0 point per publication in the scientific catalog of the Medical Professors' Council and 0-0.75 points per publication in the scientific catalog of the Pharmaceutical Professors' Council.

In August 2023, the Hue Medical and Pharmaceutical Journal successfully joined the WPRIM index (West Asia-Pacific regional scientific journals).
