Extended-view totally extraperitoneal (eTEP) technique for inguinal hernia repair has many advantages, such as the creation of an enlargement view, flexible port setup adaptability, and possible tolerance of pneumoperitoneum. Besides, it also repaired an incisional hernia. To contribute to the study and evaluation of the results of the eTEP technique for inguinal hernia repair, we reported the first two cases performed eTEP technique approach for the treatment of an inguinal hernia at our department: a 79-year-old male and a 62-year-old male referred to hospital for indirect inguinal hernia on the right side.
