Thực nghiệm kỹ thuật làm chum gốm văn hóa Sa Huỳnh ở miền Trung Việt Nam

This article refers to the experimental process of making Sa Huỳnh-culture ceramic jars in Bàu Trúc pottery village (Ninh Thuận) of the research project "Technology for making Sa Huỳnh cultural ceramics in Central Việt Nam". It includes the stages of material selection and processing, shaping techniques, patterning techniques, drying and firing techniques based on the evidence from comparative, experimental ethnographic methods, and natural science analysis. The experimental results have basically clarified the techniques and processes of making ceramic jars, contributing to justification of some assumptions for the research into the techniques for making Sa Huỳnh-culture ceramic jars.
