Tóm tắt
In 2020 - 2021, the research team from the Việt Nam Institute of Archeology and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Bình province discovered and excavated for 4 areas of brick-tomb cemeteries of Gia Thủy (Gia Thủy commune), Đền Hạ (Gia Lâm commune), Đồi Cò (Gia Tường commune) and Đồi Chùa (Liên Sơn commune). The research results show that the excavated sites all belonged to the ancient cemeteries from the first - third centuries, concentrating around the confluence of the Bôi River - the Hoàng Long River. The data from the research and some other information of the discovery of brick tombs from the Chinese Domination period in some other sites in Ninh Bình province have led to a new perception that the Ninh Binh lands in in the first 10 centuries AD was already a rich settlement area and had a deep interaction with Han culture.
