Abstract
The article refers to some new discoveries and survey results by the Institute of Social Sciences in Tây Nguyên in collaboration with some geologists at the Paleolithic sites Ea Ô and Cư Ni on the second-level ancient terrace of the Krông Pắc River - one of the rivers in the Ba-river system, in Ea Kar district, Dak Lak province. Nineteen stone artifacts with more or less Paleolithic features have been collected, including 5 types: Choppers; Points; flaked tools; cores; and flakes. The above-mentioned artifacts contain the characteristics and relationship with the paleolithic sites and artifacts of the An Khê industry in the Ba-river basin. The authors think that the Paleolithic inhabitants of the Krông Pắc-river valley (Đắk Lắk) might have traditionally been associated with the human groups in the Ba-river basin in Gia Lai province.
