Satisfaction of 6th year medical students with the training program at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2025
Abstract
A cross-sectional study using a questionnaire was conducted on 385 sixth-year medical students with the aim to describe the level students’ satisfaction with training program at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2025. The results showed that the overall satisfaction rate among sixth-year medical students was 90.1%, the average satisfaction score was 3.88 ± 0.59. Students expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the item “the training program is fully communicated to students”, while the lowest levels of satisfaction were related to “the volume of basic and specialized knowledge” and “the distribution ratio between theoretical and practical training”. Students with a defined specialty orientation reported higher satisfaction scores with both the overall training program (3.90 ± 0.60) and the item “the training program includes subjects that provide basic and professional skills” (3.98 ± 0.73) compared to those without a defined specialty orientation, whose corresponding scores were 3.66 ± 0.42 (p = 0.049) and 3.65 ± 0.56 (p = 0.027), respectively.
