DEVELOPING SCIENTIFIC CRITICAL THINKING IN MILITARY SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES FACULTY: INSIGHTS FROM IDEOLOGICAL AND THEORETICAL FRONTLINES

Abstract

Social sciences and humanities courses play a vital role in shaping the scientific worldview, political steadfastness, moral qualities, and intellectual capacity of cadets and students at military universities. In the context of fundamental and comprehensive educational reform, as well as the requirement to build the Vietnam People's Army into a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern force, improving the quality of teaching social sciences and humanities courses has become an urgent necessity. Enhancing the effectiveness of teaching these subjects contributes significantly to improving the overall quality of education and training at military universities, thereby helping to develop military officers with strong political qualities, professional competence, and the ability to meet the demands of military tasks in the new situation.
