Application gis and remotes to warning landslide, flood and forestfires in thuong trach commune, bo trach district, Quang Binh province
Abstract
Thuong Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province has a steep terrain, divided by a system of rivers, the surface vegetation layer is decreasing, infrastructure planning is increasing, agricultural production areas, Residential areas are mainly mountainous areas, leading to a high risk of natural disasters when affected by rain, storm, and drought. Research on landslides, floods, and forest fires in this area to give warnings to minimize negative impacts on the ecosystem and local communities. In this study, the input data including: Remote sensing image data, geological map and information on flood spots, flooded areas, landslide points, fire zones recorded from field investigations are used. for analysis. Based on the characteristics of each zone, different weights will be determined, thereby interpolating 5 warning levels.
