RELATIONSHIP OF COMPREHENSIVE COOPERATION BETWEE SON LA PROVINCE (VIETNAM) AND THE NORTHERN PROVINCES OF LAOS IN DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Abstract

The two countries Vietnam - Laos always have a tradition of solidarity fight against foreign invaders, build up and defend the country. The two peoples have bonded and helped each other in the two resistance wars war against French colonialism and American imperialism, to regain national independence. After Vietnam unified the country on April 30, 1975 and Laos won National independence on December 2, 1975, the two countries established special friendship diplomatic relations. Since then, the comprehensive cooperation, helping each other about economy, culture, health, education, security and defense ... between the two countries continue to bear fruit. This is the foundation, the source for comprehensive cooperation between ethnic groups in Son La province (Vietnam South) to the Northern provinces of Laos in future development.
With the analysis of comprehensive cooperation relationship between Son La province with Northern provinces of Laos, the article contributes to clarify the special traditional close relationship between the two countries - Vietnam and Laos in the tradition and present.
