WRITTEN SCRIP OF MONG ETHNIC GROUP IN VIETNAM - VIEWING FROM WRITTEN CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES

Abstract

Currently, written script of Mong ethnic group in Vietnam is receiving much attention from society around the issues of social functions, attitudes of native people as well as the internal structure of
the script. This article reviews and evaluates the Vietnamese Mong script from the perspective of writing
construction techniques in comparison with the international Mong script in order to explain the current
status of social functions and native people’s attitudes.
