Abstract

Abstract: A legal framework governing information disclosure by state‑owned
enterprises (SOEs) has now been enacted and implemented, making an important
contribution to ensuring transparency in SOE operations. Nevertheless, alongside these
positive developments, certain limitations persist in the relevant regulations. This article
analyses and evaluates these shortcomings and offers recommendations for improving
the rules on information disclosure by SOEs.
