THE IMPACTS OF PART-TIME JOBS ON ENGLISH MAJOR JUNIOR STUDENTS AT HANOI METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY
Abstract
This research aims to study the situation of having part-time jobs and the impacts of part-time jobs on school performance, health, and personal development of third-year students at Hanoi Metropolitan University. To achieve this objective, the study will utilize an online questionnaire that will be distributed to a sample of 145 third-year students at Hanoi Metropolitan University and 52 valid responses were received. The findings revealed that part-time jobs have a significant impact on the school performance, health and personal development of third-year students at Hanoi Metropolitan University. Based on the data analysis, recommendations will be made for students and university to develop strategies to mitigate the negative effects of part-time jobs.
