LEGAL TECHNIQUE AS A SCIENCE AND AN ACADEMIC SUBJECT
Keywords
Abstract
Abstract: Legal technique is not only a field of legal science that studies the rules, methods,
and skills of legal activity, but also an academic subject of special significance in legal professional
training. This article analyzes the position of legal technique within the system of legal science,
clarifies its research object, methodology, and subject structure, and affirms both the scientific and
practical nature of legal technique in law-making, legal interpretation, and law application. From
a practical perspective, legal technique contributes to improving the quality of legal activities,
minimizing professional errors, and developing legal practice skills for law students. Drawing
on Vietnamese practice and international experience, the article argues that strengthening the
research and teaching of legal technique is necessary for reforming legal education and meeting
the requirements of building a rule-of-law state and promoting international integration in the
current context.
