Abstract

The Law on housing 2023 builds upon the foundations of the Law on Housing 2014 and introduces several new provisions regarding housing ownership for overseas Vietnamese and foreign individuals. This article will analyze the regulations concerning the establishment of housing ownership by overseas Vietnamese and foreign individuals in Vietnam under the Law on Housing 2023. It will do so by comparing these new regulations with the current legal framework, including relevant laws such as the Law on Real Estate Business and the Law on Land. The article will also identify areas that require further clarification and offer recommendations for improving and implementing the Law on Housing 2023 and related legal
