Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia in STEAM instruction on “human diseases” for high-school students: A case study in Dak Lak province

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an AI-integrated STEAM model on the topic “Diseases in Humans” in high school. Experimental results from 175 students show that the experimental group achieved a higher mean score (M=8.10) than the control group (M=6.65), with a large effect size (Cohen’s d=0.97). The findings confirm that the model enhances academic performance, digital competence, and critical thinking, aligning with the 2018 General Education Program.
