Impact of climate change on sustainable tourism development: Case study in Con Ho - Tra Vinh

Abstract

Tra Vinh, a province in the Mekong Delta, is blessed with many peaceful natural landscapes and a cool, fresh climate all year round. In recent years, tourism development combined with sustainable tourism development has always been the central goal of the Vietnam tourism industry in general and in Tra Vinh in particular. Sustainable tourism development plays an important role in protecting the environment, maintaining the culture and promoting the local economy. Based on the methods of statistics, description, synthesis, comparison and analysis of documents from a number of magazines, as well as from relevant places domestically and abroad, this study will collect data to investigate and predict the impacts of climate change on Con Ho - Tra Vinh. From that, solutions are proposed to help Con Ho - Tra Vinh develop sustainable tourism.
