Abstract

The phenomenon of pattern size shrinkage when embroidered on fabric affects the quality and aesthetics of the sewn product. One of the factors affecting the change in embroidery size on fabric is the technological parameters of the embroidery process. This article presents the results of research on the effects of stitch length, thread number, and needle size on the shrinkage of embroidery pattern size on Pe/Co 35/65 fabric. Research results show that the shrinkage of embroidery pattern size on fabric is proportional to stitch length, thread number and inversely proportional to needle size according to the quadratic function. The optimal technological solution to minimize shrinkage of embroidery patterns on Pe/Co fabric samples in this study is. Embroidery stitch length is 0,3mm, thread number is 120Ne, needle size is 8.
