The impacts of frontier development policies to Vietnam - China border market systems
Abstract
The Vietnam-China border region has an intensified network of various forms and scales of markets. Since renovation to date, especially since the normalization of the Vietnam-China relationship, the Vietnamese communist State and Party have issued and implemented many development policies for this border region, which includes commercial trade, market, and good exchange policies. With these policies, the operation of the market system becomes more dynamic and active. This article focuses on analyzing programs and policies to develop the border region as well as commercial trade development policies in the Vietnam-China border region. It also highlights the impacts of policies on the development of markets in the region.
