Some Issues of Human Resource Development of Islamic Cham Migrants in the Vietnam-Cambodian Borderland

Abstract

This writing deals with the restrictions of human resource development and the opportunities of seeking livelihoods outside the localities of Islamic Cham in the Southwestern border region of Vietnam. The migration has not been a new phenomenon for the Cham in this region but due to the trend of globalization and increasingly complicated climate change, the question of labors and jobs of the Islamic Cham migrants has been facing difficulties. Although there are some changes caused by objective reasons, basically the jobs chosen by the Islamic Cham migrants still have been the same ones in the past.
