Tóm tắt
Vietnam has 12 ethnic groups belonging to the Hmong - Yao and Sino-Tibetan linguistic groups paid attention on and studied by the domestic and foreign scholars. From 1980 up to now, each of the Hmong, Yao, Chinese-Vietnamese, Ha Nhi and Phu La peoples has at least 30 publications of its cultural domain, especially the Hmong has had over 300 publications, the Yao - over 180 publications, Chinese-Vietnamese - over 50 publications, etc. The other ethnic peoples, apart from the Ngai people which has not had any publication yet and the Ngai which has had a very few publications of which has not a monograph of its cultural characteristics, each of the resting ethnic peoples has had over 10 publications. Yet, there is not a valuable research on socio-economic change of the ethnic peoples belonging to these linguistic groups while the impact of market mechanism, urbanization and integration on them has been increasing.
