Làng người Tày trong bối cảnh công nghiệp hóa, hiện đại hóa và hội nhập (Tổng luận)
Tóm tắt
Village study has been an attracting research topic for numerous scholars in the world and Vietnam. Up to present, several thousands of studies have been published. While a great number of studies argue that the village is profoundly closed, others claim that it’s relatively opened, manifesting clearly in economic activities and other spheres. Based on these arguments and studies of Po Cai - a village of the Tay in Lang Son province, the article outlines basic characteristics of the village - it’s an administrative-economic-social-cultural interwoven institution that is difficult to be disconnected and separate, operated upon the basis of benefit/interest-obligation-emotion. Under the influence of industrialization and modernization process, the Po Cai village strongly integrates into outside worlds but it remains its inner village relations. Changes happen rapidly, but they have not broken traditional socio-cultural structure of the Tay mountainous village in Vietnam yet.
