Đôi nét về quan hệ dân tộc xuyên quốc gia của một số tộc người tại chỗ vùng Tây Nguyên

The increase of transnational ethnic relations have affected socio-economic development, national security, and defense of many countries including Vietnam. This article is a part of the project “Transnational ethnic relations of indigenous ethnic groups in the Central Highlands” that belongs to the 2013-2014 research program on transnational ethnic relations in Vietnam performed by the Institute of Anthropology. It shows that key transnational ethnic relations in the Central Highlands are kindred, religious, and political ones. These relations create united transnational networks and caused by many factors such as market economy, migration, ethnic-religious trend, living environment, socio-economic policies, national, international security, defense and so on. Then, there are both opportunities and challenges for consolidation and management of the transnational ethnic relations in the Central Highlands nowadays.
