Since 1986, when Vietnam has carried out the Renovation, along with the positive changes in socio-economic domain, it is the appearance of many sensitive cultural problems of which most notably the fast multidirectional shift of a number of religious, belief phenomena. Having the rapid spreading and the strongest influence is the conversion from tranditional beliefs and other religions to Protestantism of a part of ethnic minority peoples. Especially, the taking advantage of Prostestantism of hostile forces inside and outside Vietnam making the appearance of the new religious phenomena having their root from and essence of Protestantism has caused many complicated problems hidding many sensitive elements. This article focuses on the assessment in view of ethnology of the Protestantist influence and the taking advantage of Protestantism of the hostile forces in the ethnic minority areas of Vietnam from 1986 to present-day.
