Nghiên cứu về tộc người ở Việt Nam từ năm 1980 đến nay: Bước đầu nhận diện

Vietnam is a multi-ethnic country; therefore, issues of ethnicity are very important. However, since the publication of “the list of ethnic composition in Vietnam”, more than 30 years ago, there has been no comprehensive summary of ethnic studies published. This article identifies the diverse achievements in ethnic studies since 1980, but also highlights the imbalance in the ethnic groups studied, which include a focus on the most populous ethnic groups, on favorable localities, and often on basic research. Based on this, the author proposes some directions for the renovation of ethnic studies in the future.
