Lễ cà răng (Matahah) - Một trong những nghi lễ vòng đời của người Bali ở Indonesia
Tóm tắt
The Balinese are one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia, living mainly on the island of Bali. In early spring, at the temples, they hold many different rituals and ceremonies. However, the teeth filing ceremony (matatah) is the most attractive ceremony, forced to the male and female when they reach adulthood. The matatah is usually held collectively in a tower (temple) of the village led by the shamans. The matatah consists of various steps, such as the initiation ceremony, the teeth filing ritual, praying, and is always full of fragrant flowers, ceremonial music, prayers and praise. The Balinese believe that when reaching adulthood, the teeth filing will make the personal mood good and the body beautiful, as well as eliminate all the bad things. This is a special tradition that the Balinese maintain today.
