This article provides a fairly complete picture of the comprehensive development and changing trends of the Chut ethnic group based on the review of the Chut studies conducted from the renovation to the present day. Accordingly, the author specifies that compared to the past, there are many changes, both positive and negative, in all aspects of the Chut life, but the positive changes are dominant. The positive changes are evident in the improvement of infrastructure, health, education, mass media, the transition from nomadic to sedentary life, alternating residence and ethnic group-mixed marriages, making the cultural exchange between the Chut and the other people rich and powerful. However, the current development also raises problems in the Chut society, including the decline of the Chut traditional culture and difficulties in statistical classification and management of population and ethnic groups.
