It is not by chance that the General Directorate of Malaysian Tourism has the slogan “Malaysia - Truly Asia” as a message to invite the tourists all over the world to go to Malaysia and discover multi-dimensional beauty of an Asian mosaic, where there is an integration and acculturation of Islamic, Chinese and Indian civilizations mixed in with the Baba-Nyonya indigenous culture and their cultural heritage in Malacca. Few studies in Vietnam focus on this interesting field, particularly clothes and changes of Kebaya clothes from tradition to modernity. This article presents the history of the Kebaya dress of the Baba - Nyonya community.
