The author points out that the Kinh ethnic group living in different islands of Quangzi province (China) is one of the 56 ethnic groups in China and the Kinh currently have a stable life. They are originated from Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh and other provinces of Vietnam. While integrating into new living environments and societies in China, the Kinh still maintain some of their own culture, such as the use of their mother tongue within the family and a highly ethnic self-identity, etc. In addition, they also acquire and learn new culture from the local people. Through about 500 years of establishment and development, the Kinh people have stabilized and have made many contributions to the national development of China.
