Những chứng cứ văn hoá dân gian để góp phần xác định tộc danh của người Nguồn

Tóm tắt

According to the List of Ethnic Groups in Vietnam released in 1979 by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the Nguon people (who mainly live in the Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province) are classified as a branch of the Viet (the Kinh). However, findings relating to the language, folklore, beliefs, religion, eating and drinking habits, etc. of the Nguon people, suggest that they have their own culture, which is different from that of the Kinh, Muong, Tho and Chut who belong to Viet-Muong language group. The findings suggest that the Nguon should be classified as a particular ethnic group separate from the Kinh.
