On poverty of Khmer people (case study of Hoa Loi commune, Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province).

Abstract

The author views the cause of the Khmer people’s poverty is due to the fact that they only cultivate rice in the Mekong river delta, of which other problems included lack of land, loss of cultivated land, no land, borrow at heavy interest, costly practiced customs, insensitive market economy.
