The Mieu ethnic group is the most populous ethnic minority in China. There are a lot of cultural similarities between the Mieu people in China and the Hmong people in Vietnam. In his article, the author goes into the salient features of the Mieu community in China from linguistics to economic, social and cultural material so that readers can get a broad view and see the relationships between the Mieu People in China and those in neighbouring countries.
