Experience of some countries in implementing the nationaldevelopment target system and lessons for Vietnam

Abstract

Identifying the path of national development as industrialization and modernization; comprehensively and synchronously promoting innovation and deep international integration, the Communist Party of Vietnam has concretized the country's development goals. Accordingly, by 2030, Vietnam will strive to become a developing country with modern industry and a high average income; by 2045, Vietnam will become a developed country with a high income. To achieve these goals, researching, consulting, and creatively applying international experience in implementing the system of national development goals is of great significance, contributing to creating a foundation for Vietnam to build directions and propose measures to realize the aspiration of developing the country to become increasingly powerful, prosperous, and happy.
