MECHANICAL SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND INTEGRATED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY FOR HIGH-TECH TEXTILES USING SMART MATERIALS
Abstract
Smart textiles technology is a major development trend in the textile industry, requiring the integration of precision mechanical systems and automation in production. This paper presents an overview of applications and analysis of related technical bases, including: thermochromic color change principles, thermally adjustable phase change materials and conductive fber design. These principles highlight the strict requirements for equipment accuracy and technological processes in dipping, coating and integrating materials. In Vietnam, the major challenges lie in core technology, high investment costs in modern production lines and the shortage of interdisciplinary human resources (mechanical - electronic). The study proposes a shift to a knowledge-based production model, focusing on research and development (R&D) of mechanical and automation systems to master the technology, thereby improving the competitiveness of high-tech textile products.
