Abstract
Drawing on survey data from the Mekong Delta and framed within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this study examines the current situation and proposes measures to enhance the happiness of religious adherents. The results indicate that religious and non-religious individuals demonstrate differences in their perceptions and evaluations of their happiness levels. On average, the happiness index of religious individuals is 0.138 points higher than that of non-religious individuals. Based on these findings, the study suggests policy recommendations to promote the role of religion in improving people’s happiness in the Mekong Delta in the upcoming times.
