Model for calculating logistics service costs on digital maps in Can Tho City

Abstract

In today's era, the industrial revolution 4.0 accompanied by the outstanding development of information and communication technology renders all aspects of human activities shift to digital platforms. Therefore, digital transformation becomes an inevitable, extremely important and necessary trend for all organizations, individuals and businesses to survive and develop. Particularly, thanks to the advent of information technology in the logistics field, the industry has seen improvements various facets, including managing, controlling and continuously monitoring goods at different storage times or in different stages of transport, which is from time of production or place of origin to the final consumption end. Besides, the constant increase in diversity of companies' products makes the management of the information flow throughout the supply chain more challenging. Therefore, companies are forced to come up with new technologies to facilitate the management of logistics operations. This article  addressed the need for digital transformation of the map of shipping logistics services within the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 and proposed some specific solutions to promote the digital transformation of the logistics industry in Can Tho City.
