Optimizing sustainable Eco-tourism development in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution: a case study of Can Tho City

Abstract

In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, ecotourism has been identified as a priority for Vietnam's tourism industry. Can Tho City has many potentials and advantages for developing sustainable ecotourism. The research objective is to provide solutions for the future development of ecotourism in Can Tho City. This article utilized qualitative research methods to approach ecotourism development. Through analysis of the resources that are favorable and challenging for sustainable ecotourism development in Can Tho City, this article proposed solutions for building successful and sustainable tourist destinations.
