In the post-COVID-19 era, the Mekong Delta region has experienced a strong economic recovery, following the national trend. The banking system has played a crucial role in this impressive growth. This article delves into the specific role of the banking system in promoting economic development in the Mekong Delta. It also analyzes the current state of banking activities, including capital mobilization, credit allocation, green credit initiatives, and non-cash payment adoption. Furthermore, the article identifies the challenges facing the Mekong Delta's banking system and offers recommendations for addressing them.
