Completing the law on occupational accidents and occupational diseases for employees participating in social insurance

Abstract

Occupational accident and occupational disease insurance is a mandatory social security policy to protect employees’ interests when facing workplace risks. This is not only the employer's responsibility but also practical support to help employees stabilize their lives. The current occupational accident and occupational disease insurance is stipulated in the Law on Occupational Safety and Health 2015 and the Law on Social Insurance 2014, which has formed a complete legal framework to protect the interests of employees. Still, in the process of implementing these benefits, there are also some difficulties and certain limitations.
