Abstract

Building a modern Vietnam People’s Army is a strategic policy of the Party and the State, aimed at ensuring that the Army possesses sufficient strength to successfully accomplish the mission of safeguarding the Fatherland under the new conditions. The Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam sets out the goal of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People’s Army that remains absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the State, and the people. Therefore, thoroughly understanding and successfully implementing this policy is of significant importance and urgency today.
