Abstract

Martial law is a measure applied in special national defence and security situations, giving rise to new requirements for the operation of military judicial and prosecutorial authorities. Under such circumstances, the role of the Military Procuracy in exercising prosecutorial powers and supervising judicial activities is particularly important and indispensable. It ensures that all violations of the law and criminal offences are dealt with strictly, thereby maintaining social order and discipline and ensuring that all related procedural activities are conducted in accordance with the law.
