Abstract

In
recent
years,
localities
have
paid
special
attention
to
tourism
development
and
considered
it
a
key
economic
 sector.
Many
types
of
tourism
and
tourism
products
have
been
born.
To
become
an
attractive
tourist
destination
 that
attracts
many
tourists,
many
localities
have
not
yet
built
a
distinctive
image
and
have
not
been
able
to
 maximize
their
strengths.
There
are
some
opinions
that,
to
maximize
tourism
potential,
localities
should
focus
on
 building
their
image
through
tourism
communication
activities.
Therefore,
researching
the
factors
that
affect
the
 building
of
a
local
image
through
tourism
activities
is
a
necessary
and
urgent
job
that
contributes
to
building
a
 strong
and
sustainable
locality
in
the
future.
